A steady, methodical left-handed pitcher, Glavine was a consistent presence in the dominant Atlanta Braves pitching rotation of the 1990’s. He helped lead the Braves to five National League pennants, was named the 1995 World Series MVP, and led the National League in wins five times. He started at least 25 games in 20 consecutive seasons, and finished his career as the fifth left hander to win more than 300 games.
