A stalwart in the New York Yankees pitching rotation throughout the 1950s and ‘60s, Ford won six World Series titles during his 16-year career in pinstripes. No pitcher in the history of baseball has recorded more World Series starts, innings pitched, strikeouts, or wins. He won the AL Cy Young Award in 1961, winning 25 games and pitching 283 innings for the World Series champion Yankees. Ford was named an All Star ten times.
