Eddie Murray entered the Hall of Fame in 2003 as one of the game’s best switch hitters of all time. He was only the third player to record more than 500 home runs and 3,000 hits during his career, which spanned 21 seasons with five different teams. Murray was the 1977 AL Rookie of the Year, a World Series champion with the 1983 Baltimore Orioles, and a three-time Gold Glove winner at first base.
