Rollie Fingers ushered in a seismic shift in the game of baseball by becoming one of the first true relief aces. Upon his retirement in 1985 after 17 MLB seasons, Fingers held the all-time saves record. He won three World Series titles, was named an All Star seven times, and won both the American League MVP and Cy Young Award in 1981 at age 34.
