In order to use this Web site, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on the registration form.  During registration you are required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest. 

If you are a business owner we collect your Tax ID and Company name.  We use this information for the purpose of setting up a Company Account for you.

Candy.com is the sole owner of the information collected on www.candy.com. Candy.com collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). 

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders.  If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Newsletters

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you.  Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe.  Please see the “Choice and Opt-out” section.

Candy.com does not share, sell, rent, or trade PII with third parties other than as described within this privacy policy. 

Agents/Service Providers 

We use other third parties such as a shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services.  We use Live Chat to assist you if you have questions while using our site or regarding your order. If live chat is offline you will be asked for your name and email address so that we may get back to you regarding your inquiry.  The information collected is governed by our third party service provider’s privacy policy. We will share the personal information that is necessary for the third party to provide that service. 

These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for promotional purposes.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct or update it by making the change within the “My Account” page on the site or by emailing our Customer Support at info@candy.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed above. 

With respect to security: When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information (credit card number and Tax ID), we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our site, We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

If you choose to use our referral service to email a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address.  We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site.  Candy.com stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.

Blog/Forum

If you use the blog or forum on this Web site, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these blogs or forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages.  We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these blogs or forums.

We post customer reviews on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information.  We do obtain the customer's consent via email prior to posting the review to post their name along with their review.
